Business Analyst - Insurance Industry - PAS Implementation - #1065 Job Category: Business Analyst
Location: Montgomery, Alabama
Job Opportunity:

Doozer Software is currently seeking to hire a Business Analyst that has experience working on at least one or more projects related to implementing an insurance policy administration system - PAS. Experience with Professional Liability (PL), General Liability (GL), or Workers Compensation (WC) is also a major plus.  This position will split time between our office in Birmingham, AL and our customer’s office.


  • Document existing processes for administering Professional Liability (PL), General Liability(GL) and Workers Compensation(WC) products
  • Build new requirements for administering PL/GL/WC products in Origami Risk
  • Apply the tools of Origami Risk to build the workflow for the company’s Insurance products
  • Create and execute test plans based on the requirements documented and workflow implemented in Origami Risk
  • Maintain commitment to quality customer service with insured facilities



  • Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience
  • Experience implementing a policy administration system in previous employment
  • Experience with managing Business Requirements Documents, Quality Assurance and  Application Development
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to communicate with healthcare professionals and legal counsel
  • Functions in self-reliant manner
  • Exhibits good judgment and ability to make sound decisions
  • Good reasoning ability is essential
